Great overnight stop on your way to/from the Black Hills. All sites are pull-thru and someone will guide you to your spot. Several fast food and local establishments within walking distance so you don't have to unhook if you choose not to do so. Amazing how quickly the place fills up in in the evening during the middle of the week. I suspect that is due to the park and owner's reputation. It was obvious the bathrooms were a source of pride, very clean and cared for. Wifi worked well.

Good basecamp for visiting Mitchell. You basically have two choices: closer to the Corn Palace or closer to the interstate. We chose the latter. All sites are pull-thru, but a bit narrow. Wifi was good and having cable TV to check the weather was appreciated. No campfires.

Great spot for overnight stop. The place is huge and there were only a few others staying here midweek. Bathrooms were very dated, but clean. My wife was a little more sensitive to their age than I, which I believe to be a typical reaction. Rate included 30 amp service, W/E, cable TV. I think full hookup was 3 dollars more. There is a Subway/gas station within walking distance as well as a steak/seafood restaurant if you prefer to not unhook overnight. Unsure of Wifi reception as we did not use it.

We stayed here for a week visiting the Black Hills. Due to the lateness of our reservation over the July 4th holiday, our site was not the best. However, all other aspects of our stay were positive. The ladies in the office were extremely nice and offered great tips about our stay. Wifi worked excellent, which was a bonus given that we got zero TV reception and our phone service was spotty at best. Bathrooms were spotless and were checked several time per day. Rated noted above is a discount for a 7 day stay. Lastly, my kids had a blast at the water side, and it is well worth the minimal cost for the hours of enjoyment it brought.
